Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 August 2026 ยท Effective from the date you first use the Service

The short version. InboxWire gives you throwaway email addresses that can only receive mail. Anyone who knows an address can read it, so never use it for anything that matters. You are entirely responsible for what you do with the Service, and we are not liable for your actions or for anything that happens to mail passing through it. The full text below controls.

1. Who we are

The Service known as InboxWire, available at emailcheck.in and its subdomains, is operated by Balkrishna Enterprise, a proprietary concern based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India ("we", "us", "our", the "Operator").

"You" means the person or entity using the Service, whether through the website, the public temporary-mail page, or the API. By using the Service in any way โ€” including using a disposable address without creating an account โ€” you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is โ€” and is not

InboxWire provides short-lived email addresses that receive messages, display them for a limited period, and then delete them. It also provides a REST API so that developers can create such addresses programmatically and read the messages delivered to them, primarily for testing signup and verification flows.

The Service explicitly is not:

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and legally capable of entering a binding contract. The Service is not directed at children.

The free temporary-mail page requires no account. API access requires an account and an API key. You are responsible for keeping your API key and password secret, and for all activity that occurs under your key or account, whether or not you authorised it. Notify us at abuse@emailcheck.in immediately if you believe a key has been compromised; you can revoke and reissue keys yourself from the dashboard at any time.

You may not share, resell or sublicense your API key, or operate the Service as a white-labelled product for third parties, without our written permission.

4. No privacy or confidentiality in inboxes

Read this before you use a disposable address for anything. Every address on the public page is publicly readable by anyone who knows or guesses it. There is no password, no authentication and no ownership on the free page. We generate addresses using twelve random characters, which makes guessing impractical, but "impractical" is not "impossible" and it is not a security guarantee.

Never use an InboxWire address to receive passwords, password resets for accounts you care about, banking or payment information, government identifiers, medical records, private correspondence, or anything else whose disclosure would harm you or another person. If you do so anyway, you accept the entire risk.

Inboxes created through the API and bound to your account are scoped to your API key and are not listed publicly, but they remain unencrypted at rest and readable by anyone holding your key.

5. Acceptable use

Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms and lists in detail what is prohibited. In summary, you must not use the Service to commit fraud or any crime, to evade bans or identity checks in order to harm someone, to harass or abuse any person, to infringe others' rights, to receive or distribute unlawful material, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the Service or the systems of anyone else.

You must also comply with the terms of any third-party website with which you use an InboxWire address. Many services prohibit disposable email. Using an InboxWire address in breach of another site's rules is a matter between you and that site โ€” not something we authorise, endorse or take responsibility for.

6. Your responsibility for your own conduct

You alone are responsible for how you use the Service and for every consequence of that use. The Operator does not monitor, review, moderate, approve or control the content of messages delivered to disposable addresses, the purposes for which users create addresses, or the third-party services users register with.

Without limiting the generality of the above, you acknowledge and agree that:

The Operator acts solely as an intermediary providing an automated technical facility for the receipt and temporary display of electronic messages. It does not initiate transmissions, select their recipients, or select or modify the information they contain, and it claims the full benefit of every protection available to intermediaries under applicable law, including section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and the rules made under it.

Where we are legally obliged to act on a valid order from a court or an authorised government agency, we will comply. Doing so is not an admission of any kind.

7. Plans, quotas and payment

Current plans, prices and monthly email quotas are shown on the pricing page and are incorporated here by reference. Quotas are counted per calendar month in UTC and reset at the start of each month. Requests that exceed your quota are refused with an error; they do not incur overage charges.

Paid plans are billed in advance. Unless a mandatory law in your jurisdiction says otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial months, unused quota and periods during which you did not use the Service. You may cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of the paid period.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, which will not affect the period you have already paid for. Taxes, where applicable, are your responsibility unless stated otherwise on the invoice.

8. Availability, data loss and changes

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not offer any service-level agreement, uptime commitment or guaranteed response time unless we have agreed one with you in a separate signed contract.

Messages are deleted automatically when an inbox expires, and expired data cannot be recovered. Inboxes may also be deleted early because of capacity limits, a per-inbox message cap, abuse handling, or operational necessity. We keep no archive and no backup of message content for your benefit. Do not rely on InboxWire as the only place a piece of information exists.

We may add, change, suspend or remove features, domains or endpoints at any time. We will make a reasonable effort to give notice of breaking API changes, but we do not guarantee backwards compatibility. An email domain used by the Service may stop working at any time โ€” for instance if it is blocklisted by a third party, expires, or is withdrawn โ€” and we are not liable for the consequences of that.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, revoke API keys, delete inboxes, or block addresses, domains or IP ranges immediately and without prior notice if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that your use is unlawful or harmful, that your use threatens the stability, reputation or deliverability of the Service, or that we are required to do so by law.

Where a suspension is for a serious or repeated breach, no refund is due. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time; sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 6 and 10 to 14) will survive it.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, documentation and brand are owned by the Operator and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service and its API in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from the Service except to the extent that this restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.

You retain any rights you hold in content delivered to your inboxes. You grant us only the narrow, temporary licence needed to receive, process, sanitise, store and display that content to you, which ends when the content is deleted.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free; that any message will be delivered, delivered intact, or delivered within any period; that any address will be accepted by any third-party website; that data will be preserved; or that defects will be corrected. No advice or information obtained from us creates any warranty not expressly stated here.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you; the remainder continues to apply to the fullest extent permitted.

You acknowledge that the fees charged (and the free tier offered) reflect this allocation of risk, and that the Operator would not provide the Service on these commercial terms without it.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Operator, its proprietor, employees, contractors and suppliers from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, investigations, proceedings, liabilities, damages, penalties, fines, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with:

We reserve the right, at your expense, to assume exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate with us.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

The courts at Rajkot, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, and you irrevocably submit to that jurisdiction and waive any objection based on venue or forum non conveniens.

15. Changes to these terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change, and for material amendments we will give reasonable notice through the Service or by email to account holders. Continuing to use the Service after an amendment takes effect means you accept it. If you do not accept it, stop using the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us on this subject.
